Things Fall Apart Ch.1

This chapter is a short brief detailing the life of the main character's father. There is some minor detail about Okonkwo himself, mostly about him throwing the Cat, but on the whole the chapter is giving clues about Okonkwo's relationship with Unoka. Unoka is a free spirit, a dreamer who would be at home in any drug based culture, provided that culture likes musicians. He would be most at home in 1950's America. Unoka has no concept of repayment, and manages to get himself massively in debt. On the whole, Unoka is a guy I would like, provided I did not know him very well. Otherwise he might try to borrow money from me!
